Assimilate, ideate and prototype in #startathon 2015!
#startathon is a makeathon that is big on learning
Unlike traditional hackathons, #startathon emphasises learning. Participants will learn various skills such as futures thinking, business modelling, traditional fabrication and coding. These will be taught by practitioners during masterclasses happening throughout the #startathon.
Beyond teaching, the practitioners will also work alongside participants to refine their ideas from various angles, such as technological, user experience, and business angle.
By applying the various skills and advice gained throughout the #startathon, participants will be empowered to come out with high definition prototypes, which they will present in the form of an experience booth.
This year’s edition of #startathon will challenge participants to think about the smart nation in the context of home & living and fun & entertainment.
There would also be a mystery challenge.
#startathon is happening on 17-18 October 2015 at Red Dot Design Museum. Tickets are sold out.
