Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo to Return to Berlin in March

(Robotics Tomorrow) — Experts, scientists, service providers, manufacturers, traders, investors, and specialists from different sectors will gather at Estrel Berlin in Berlin, Germany, on March 3-4 as the leading B2B conference on 3D printing, Inside 3D Printing and Expo, returns to Germany for its second time. The conference is expected to grow dramatically this year, expanding from two to three tracks. After much interest in the event in 2014, the exhibition area will double in size. A key focus of Inside 3D Printing Berlin will be the application of 3D printing in the automotive and aerospace sectors.

Conference chairman Eric Klemp, business director of the Direct Manufacturing Research Center at the University of Paderborn, designed a program consisting of successful use-cases, industrial applications, and research findings. Speakers include U.S. 3D printing expert Terry Wohlers; Claus Emmelmann, head of the Institute of Laser and System Technologies at Hamburg University of Technology and CEO of Laser Zentrum Nord; as well as Ing. Franz-Josef Villmer, professor of product development and engineering at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences. Exhibition companies include Airbus, BEGO, Boeing, Airbus Defence & Space, DMG, EDAG, EOS, Fraunhofer, HP, Materialise, Phoenix Contact, SLM, and Stratasys.
